The Be THE Voice initiative challenges reactive instincts that can lead to conflict, and instead promotes empathy and inclusion. In fact, 2022-23 post-program data reflected a significant decrease in student misbehavior in the Elementary and Middle-School programs, with our largest school district enrolled reporting a 36% decrease in office referrals and a 23% decrease in out-of-school suspensions between 2021/22 and 2022/23 (see graph attached).
Our innovative approach benefits both students and staff by creating a space where students feel connected to their peers and are ready to learn, and a classroom where teachers can focus on academics instead of managing student misbehavior. A win-win for all involved!
