Be THE Voice is dedicated to helping the whole child.
We hope you were able to tune-in last week when On Location with Tran chatted with Julia Bernath, Fulton County School Board President, District 7 about Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and how it’s being implemented in schools. Click here to view the interview.
When it comes to SEL, “Research indicates students with strong cognitive regulation, emotional processes, and interpersonal skills have better academic, interpersonal, and mental health outcomes. When students are able to sustain their attention, control their emotions, navigate relationships with peers and adults, and persevere in challenging situations, they are able to focus their attention on learning and classrooms function more smoothly” -Denise A. Spangler
Plan on tuning in the next 2 weeks as Tran will be talking to other enthusiastic Be THE Voice supporters about the impact Be THE Voice is making in Georgia schools.
