Despite the fact that the pandemic created a remote-learning (and socializing) environment in schools all over the country, BTV students still found a way to make a difference in their school and/or community. Such is the case with Karlie Kohler, from Taylor Road Middle School. She is being recognized as a “Very Important Voice” this year for always being upbeat and inquiring as to what she can do to help with the BTV campaign at Taylor Road Middle School. She keeps her peers updated on what is going on with BTV, collects items for donations and is overall living the code of kindness, compassion and inclusion. A big BTV shout-out to Karlie for making a difference at TRMS, one VOICE at a time!
